About Sisters in Sun City Center

Katie Bush and Mary King, the SISTERS IN SUN CITY CENTER, really are sisters.

We are two of six children born to Mary and Ken McKale, who were residents of Sun City Center starting in 1978. That's when we decided that we couldn't wait to move here. Of course we had to wait until our children grew up and we got old enough. Ah - patience.

In 1991 Katie and her husband Scott moved down the street from the McKales on Hacienda Dr. and Mary and her husband Frank finally followed (partially as Snowbirds) in 1997. Mary had the best of both worlds working in Real Estate in Ohio all summer and then partnering with Katie in the winter in Florida. The seasonal exodus was finally too much and Mary and Frank moved full time to Sun City Center in 2004. Katie got her full time partner and the team roared into action.

We have watched Sun City Center grow and mature from a small village to a town of over 20,000 residents. We heard one gentleman say that in Sun City Center/Kings Point you can be as busy as you want to be. There are so many activities here.
